PCH Construction is the only contractor / builder I'll work with, after some initial bad experiences with other folks. Together, we have built a large addition plus new half bathroom and laundry room in the main old part of the house. Everything turned out stunning. In addition, we built a new large deck, 18x18.

Renovations/construction projects are some of the most stressful things. We all know it and joke about it. Not with Lance, Logan, and Larry; a family construction team. Our family of 11 lived through finishing our 3500 sqft. basement, and gutting and rebuilding our kitchen. We spent a year together. And let me tell you, they are fair, available, and they don’t make you drop down huge deposits just to have the money “run out” magically. You pay as you go each week. No surprises. What’s more, we homeschool, so our children spent the whole year around these men and their crews, and I always felt safe, and saw them treat all of us with patience and kindness.
Did I mention their work is incredible? They do everything excellently. Truly. The work they do is absolutely beautiful. I honestly can’t recommend them enough. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve attached pictures of the kitchen below. We still can’t believe we get to call it ours. Don’t look around anymore, just hire them. You’ll be so glad you did.

What went well: Everything! Lance and all of the PCH crews were honest, punctual, efficient, and made sure my money was wisely spent. Lance had several money-saving ideas that helped stretch my budget. Lance and his son designed a stunning porch that far exceeded my expectations. It runs the full length of the front of the house and with lights and ceiling fans, it is where I spend as much of my day as possible. Lance’s son designed an exquisite pediment for the top of every interior door. My style is transitional - not quite Craftsman, not fully farmhouse – and they created a stunningly beautiful space for me. Together, we renovated almost 2,000 SF into a dream kitchen with a walk-in pantry, a primary bedroom with a walk-in closet and a bathroom that is beyond decadent, a second bedroom with a full bathroom and large closet, vaulted ceiling living room, fireplace, dining area, and a laundry room.
Lance and his crews cared about me – truly cared. They were kind, friendly, and most importantly, respectful. As a single woman, I am accustomed to misogynistic, disrespectful attitudes from men. As winter approached, Lance strongly urged me to spend the Christmas week in a hotel as we had an extreme cold snap over the holidays in 2022. As the living space in the house grew smaller and smaller due to demolition, Lance helped me set up my travel trailer – he even helped with the black water.
What I would have done differently: Ask the house architect more questions and I would have said yes to a 3D rendering. That is a reflection on me, not PCH. I would also ask for at least weekly clean up by the different crews, especially cigarette butts. (I’m from California – it’s icky.) Again, a reflection on me not voicing my expectations.
Would I recommend PCH? YES! I have two more bedrooms and one more bathroom and a recreation space to remodel. I am absolutely working with PCH again on that project.

After a bad experience with another builder, we were referred to PCH by our realtor. Lance and Logan set up a meeting to discuss the house we wanted to build. They talked us through each step and detailed the estimated costs. They worked with our bank to get the right amount for the loan.
They provided receipts for all materials and services provided at each step.
They are very attentive to our needs and were able to offer helpful suggestions. Our newly constructed house is ahead of schedule. We couldn't be more pleased.
